At 10 years old, Lore is the lead mare of our little herd. She\u2019s calm, gentle and loves being brushed and cuddled. Confident young riders can even enjoy riding her on their own \u2013 a real highlight for pony fans! <\/p>\n

Oscar, Lore\u2019s son, is now 3 years old and recently started his riding training. He’s curious, friendly and ideal for slightly older children who want to ride a small but strong pony. <\/p>\n

Lisl is 8 years old and full of character. She\u2019s clever, patient and always up for a little fun. Kids love her relaxed and gentle nature \u2013 and she loves being pampered! <\/p>\n

Three times a week, we groom, cuddle, and ride our ponies together. For those with riding experience, there\u2019s even the option of a short walk along the nearby Enns River \u2013 a peaceful and fun outdoor activity for the whole family. <\/p>\n

\ud83d\udc34<\/strong>Why Shetland Ponies Are So Special<\/strong><\/p>\n

Shetland ponies originate from the Shetland Islands in the north of Scotland. Their small size and sturdy build <\/strong>come from centuries of adapting to harsh weather and sparse grazing land. <\/p>\n

Once used as working ponies in mines and on farms<\/strong>, today they\u2019re best known as child-friendly riding ponies <\/strong>and popular animals for petting farms and therapy work.<\/p>\n
